The event took place at the historic Royal Hospital Kilmainham, once the site of an early Christian and Viking settlement, later transformed into a monastery of the Knights Hospitaller in the Norman era, and used for 250 years as a retirement home and infirmary for veterans. In 1991, it became the home of the Irish Museum of Modern Art. After the ceremony, Ambassador Faganello attended the lunch hosted by Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade, Simon Harris, for the Diplomatic Corps accredited to Dublin in the splendid setting of St. Patrick’s Hall in Dublin Castle. During the ritual round of greetings of the Tánaiste to the Ambassadors, he had the opportunity for a quick exchange of views with him on current international affairs.

The Italian Ambassador to Ireland, Nicola Faganello, participated yesterday for the first time since his arrival in Dublin – together with the other Ambassadors accredited to the Irish capital – in the ceremony organized every year by the local Government to commemorate the Irishmen and Irish women who died in past wars or on military […]
["post-3430","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
