The evening opened with remarks by the Ambassador of Italy to Ireland, Nicola Faganello, and the President of the Italian\u2013Irish Chamber of Commerce, Furio Pietribiasi. Speakers included Omar Lapecia, President of Slow Food Alta Marca Trevigiana; wild-herb expert Nicole Dunne; Nicola Franchetto of Il Fiore della Salute and the Radicchio di Treviso Consortium; and Andrew Davidson, co-owner of Quickcrop.
