The Italian Ambassador to Dublin, Nicola Faganello, took part on June 29 in the closing evening of the first day of the business mission to Dublin organized by Venicepromex, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Padova, Assocamerestero, the Teatro Stabile del Veneto, Dublin’s Abbey Theatre, the Italian-Irish Chamber of Commerce, Confindustria Veneto Est, and the Italian Cultural Institute in Dublin. After the opening event titled \u201cVeneto and Ireland – a friendship between business and culture\u201d held at the Trinity College Business School \u2013 which the business delegation visited in the afternoon \u2013 the evening continued with a social networking dinner at Gloria Osteria, a new restaurant of Italian cuisine in the heart of Dublin.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
The evening was attended by Ambassador Faganello, the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute, Michela Magr\u00ec, the President of the Italian-Irish Chamber of Commerce, Furio Pietribiasi, and the President of Assocamerestero, Mario Pozza, along with other representatives from the Veneto business and cultural world, and many members of the local business community.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
The mission program, from June 29 to July 1, includes visits to Irish business realities (including the headquarters of Google and Salesforce), as well as opportunities for Italian participants to meet with key local institutional partners (including IBEC, IDA Ireland, and Enterprise Ireland) to get to know each other better and explore the opportunities the Irish economic ecosystem offers for Italian companies.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
The initiative is linked to the international theatre project “Mirandolina,” a co-production between Dublin’s Abbey Theatre and the Fondazione Teatro Stabile del Veneto – Teatro Nazionale, which will be performed in Dublin from August 28 to September 5 at the Abbey Theatre.
