In 2025, trade between Italy and Ireland continued to grow significantly (+19%). Italian exports to Ireland surpassed 5 billion euros, marking a substantial increase of over 44% compared to the previous year. At the same time, Italian imports from Ireland reached almost 8 billion euros, growing by 7.6%. These figures confirm the strategic importance of the economic partnership between the two countries and highlight the strong and growing demand for Italian products in Ireland. Italy is now among Ireland’s main trading partners, ranking as the 7th destination for Irish exports and the 8th supplier for the Irish market. Key sectors such as pharmaceuticals, financial services, machinery, technology, fashion, design, and energy continue to drive this exchange, reflecting the complementarity of the two economies.
