A very interesting visit, together with the Director of the Italian Institute of Culture in Dublin Marco Gioacchini, at the University College Dublin-UCD Conway Institute of Biomolecular & Biomedical Research (https://www.ucd.ie/conway/). A unique opportunity for us to meet Italian and Irish Professors and Researchers working there, in particular: the NanoBioPhysics Laboratory established and led by Antonio Benedetto (https://www.antoniobenedetto.eu/) and the Cancer Biology & Therapeutics Laboratory established by William Gallagher and co-lead by 5 Principal Investigators, including Maria Prencipe (http://www.cbtlab.ie/). We learned a great deal about their very intense, impressive, innovative activities and projects and discussed possible cooperation with Italian Academic and Research Institutions.
