Following the ministerial circular dated 15th July 2020 some changes have been made to the application process for foreign students (EU and non-EU) to Italian universities

All students must register on the portal: and select the University and Course of Study which they intend to frequent. It will be the individual University which will then accept the enrolment and send the student a list of documents necessary to complete the application. From now on the Embassy of Italy will accept requests for Declarations of Equal Value (for study purposes) only if the student has a letter from the selected University.

Requests for Declarations of Equal value of Leaving Certificates will only be accepted after 7th September 2020, when these have been issued. PLEASE DO NOT SEND REQUESTS BEFORE THIS DATE AND MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER ON THE PORTAL BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR REQUEST TO THE EMBASSY.
