A little piece of Italy comes to Ireland’s National Stage! Set-in modern-day Dublin, Marina Carr’s Mirandolina examines the life of a young woman trying to find her way in the world. Inspired by Carlo Goldoni’s La Locandiera, directed by Caitríona McLaughlin and translated by Monica Capuani, Mirandolina is performed in Italian with English surtitles. The Irish premiere will run on the Abbey Stage from 28 Aug – 5 Sept 2026 for 9 performances only!
