Ruggero CORRIAS

Ambassador of Italy in Dublin

Among the youngest Italian Ambassadors, served for over 8 years in the US (New York and Washington DC), 4 years in Latin America (Santiago), 3 years in the Balkans (Sarajevo). As senior Diplomatic Advisor to the Italian Prime Minister in Rome (USA, Russia and Latin America in his portfolio), he was also responsible to promote Italian business overseas and successfully directed the Milan Expo 2015 diplomatic campaign. Head of the Press Department of the Italian Foreign Ministry, he also served as spokesman to the Foreign Minister. He has been serving as Snam’s (EU largest gas utility) CEO Diplomatic Advisor and Chief International Relations since April 2017. He is also Chairman of Snam North America LLC. In November 2021 he has been appointed Italian Ambassador to Ireland.
