On Thursday, April 30, the Italian Ambassador to Dublin, Nicola Faganello, visited the Apple Campus in Cork, where he was received by Michael Sugrue, Finance Director Global Business Solutions, and Rosemary McSweeney, External Relations Manager. Founded way back in 1980, the Cork Campus has recently expanded and houses now teams from across the company, from operations, engineering, and manufacturing to procurement, finance and customer service, for a total of 6,000 employees of 90 different nationalities.

During the visit, Ambassador Faganello met also with around forty compatriots working at that location. The meeting, which was also attended by Gabriella Caponi, Honorary Consul of Italy in Cork, provided a valuable opportunity to share the professional experiences and consular services needs of Apple’s Italian staff, and to discuss innovation and the future of Italian talent abroad.”
